To support the BDM and BD team to seek new sales and maintain strong supportive relationships with existing clients and distributors. To prepare, supply & monitor standard quotes and support with non-standard quotes. Follow up live quotes with a view to seeking up to date market feedback and intelligence. Deal with external enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Prepare and supply standard quotations
Support with the completion of non-standard quotes
Prepare quotes for service, spare parts and accessories.
Ensure quotes are priced with appropriate margins.
Follow up issued quotes and convert to sales
Complete follow up satisfaction check call post complaint
Communicate with clients and seek additional sales when appropriate.
Supporting customers on the phone / email
Deal with front line initial enquires
Support for incoming BD enquiries
Assist BDM with organisation of exhibitions
Assist with marketing activities and social media channels
Assist any website updates and additions as required
Support BDM with customer/distributor newsletters
Input all relevant customer / project data to CRM tools.
Monitor the resolution of “complaints” from (end to end)
Mailing list maintenance
Support of product categorisation & pricing
Sales analysis & reporting into Business Development Dashboard (e.g margins/geography/product mix)
The Person specification:
Qualifications and training
Computer literate with all Microsoft packages,
Experience of CRM databases advantageous
Good level of English and Maths
A second language would be an advantage
Minimum 1 years business development administrative experience.
Niche, high quality manufacturing experience
Understanding of Composite products- (desirable)
Adaptable and flexible
A strong team work ethic with the ability to work on ones owns initiative as required.
Strong desire for life long learning to continually broaden and improve personal capability
Clear professional communication skills with the ability to engage with all internal and external stakeholders
Be able to provide clear and concise guidance and instructions.
