Tank Options
Standard Tank Features
  • Fabricated in 304 grade stainless steel
  • Supporting legs with fixing points
  • Reinforced flange
  • Silicone lid seal
  • Conical base
  • 1” BSPP threaded outlet port
  • 1/4” BSPP port in base
  • 2 x 1/2” BSPP ports in sidewall (upper and lower)
  • 1 x 1/2” BSPP ports in sidewall (spare)
  • 1 x 1” BSPP port in sidewall (spare)
  • 1 x 1” BSPP port in side wall
  • Aluminium lid with removable 180mm Ø clear view port (Note: not available on the 25 litre tanks size)
  • Through-lid vent/isolation ball valve (to control air admittance)
  • 2 x cable/pipe-work mounting saddles on side of tank

  • Tanks available in the following standard sizes: 25L, 50L, 100L, 150L, 250L
  • Vacuum rated option (degassing)
  • Tanks specified to allow use with vacuum down to 1mb Abs.
  • Includes heavier duty stainless steel tank and aluminium lid.
  • Stainless Steel lid - supplied with a threaded port for customer to connect vacuum supply.
  • Aliminium lid - supplied with a Geka fitting to connect vacuum supply.
  • Integral thermocouple Point option
  • K Type thermocouple mounted through the base of the tank for accurate material temperature monitoring.
  • Level sensing option
  • Lid Mounted microwave level sensing unit.
  • Includes integral output display (showing level in centimetres)
  • Provides 4-20 mA output for integration into Ciject injection machine PLC for intelligent level monitoring.
  • Air inlet with desiccant Filter option
  • Filtered inlet to prevent moisture entering the tank.
  • Tank mounted pressure sensor (0-1.2 Bar absolute)
  • Pressure sensor to provide monitoring on tank vacuum level. To be integrated into Ciject PLC control system.
  • Manual material sampling point
  • Manual ball valve operated outlet to allow material to be dispensed while the Ciject machine is in recirculation mode.
  • Includes container platform to support 5 litre sample container.
  • Tank Heating option (water)
  • Integral fabricated stainless steel water jacket to enable accurate tank heating (requires suitable water heating unit)
  • Includes insulation jacket to minimise heat loss.
  • Tank Heating option (electrical)
  • Wrap-around electrical heating jacket.
  • Includes integral insulation to minimise heat loss.
  • Includes thermostatic controller.
  • Note: Electrical heating is suitable for general background heating up to approximately 50°C as it is limited in power. Heat up rates and temperature depends on material type and quantity. For higher spec heating requirements Water Jacketed option is required.

  • Stirrer/agitator - Air Powered
  • Air powered low-speed stirrer mounted through the tank lid.
  • Aids the material heating process
  • Note: Specify 'vacuum rated' option if air powered agitator is specified for vacuum rated tank.
  • Stirrer/agitator - Electrical
  • Electrically powered, low-speed stirrer mounted through the tank lid.
  • Includes simple on/off control but can be integrated into the Ciject PLC controls (depending on machine specification)
  • 316 Stainless Steel option
  • Tank fabricated in 316 grade stainless steel (standard tank is 304 grade)
  • Provides additional chemical resistance if required.
  • Includes stainless steel tank fittings
  • Stainless Steel lid option
  • Lid fabricated in 304 grade stainless steel.
  • Provides additional chemical resistance if necessary.
  • Stainless steel ISO A connector
  • Viewing Port Option
  • Through-lid viewing port.
  • Integral lamp.
  • Allows viewing of tank interior and contents during process
  • Suitably rated.
