Tim has a long and successful background in Composites, having started as a Marine Engineering Student at the University of Plymouth, followed by his PhD in Composites before a period lecturing and consulting as the Commercial Manager with the Advanced Composites Manufacturing Centre (ACMC) at Plymouth.
Tim set up a private composites consultancy company, Composite Innovations Ltd in 2005 and has supported CI’s internal team for several years on a consultancy basis. In November 2021 Tim has joined the company full time as Research & Development Director.
