Composite Integration have continued to support the ground-breaking large scale infusion work at Princess Yachts with the successful production of the first 105 ft hull. Using CIJECT infusion machinery specifically developed for the project, three tonnes of resin were dispensed in just over three hours to infuse the highly complex structural fibre lay-up under optimum control with minimal wastage.
Further work has continued with their new 40m (132ft) yacht with new levels of pumping technology and automation being introduced.
